The Problem
After a hard freeze the assembly was weeping steadily and the annual test failed. The valve manifold underneath had been buried directly in gravel with no box, so every previous repair had meant digging the whole thing out again.
What We Did
We replaced the damaged assembly with a new unit of the same size and rebuilt the manifold on solid supports inside a full-size valve box. Wiring was re-run into the box with waterproof connectors instead of the taped splices we found.
