The Problem
One zone had lost pressure across the whole run and the head nearest the retaining wall had disappeared entirely. Ground settlement behind the wall had dragged the lateral downward until the rigid riser sheared off at the tee.
What We Did
We opened the ground around the tee, cut back to sound pipe and rebuilt the connection with a flexible swing joint so future soil movement flexes instead of snapping. The lateral was re-bedded on compacted fill rather than loose spoil, and the head was reset to finished grade.

The Result
